DESCRIPTION

“Miejsca przedmioty kształty drzwi” (released on 15.11.2016) is the first single from the latest disc of Marek Dyjak – Pierwszy Śnieg.

It is written and composed by Robert Kasprzycki. The combination of his poetry and music with the distinctive charisma and gravel voice of Dyjak give an extraordinary effect. The theme of the song is – typically for Dyjak – accordion and trumpet, playing a march melody, reminding the “Złota Ryba” song from the Moje Fado album.

Dyjak hereby announces that he goes back to his roots: beautiful poetry, important lyrics and music in the characteristic minor tone.

The Pierwszy Śnieg album includes lyrics written by Mirosław Czyżykiewicz, Jan Kondrak, Jacek Musiatowicz and the above-mentioned Robert Kasprzycki, in which some direct reference to the recent events of the artist’s life can be found. The accompanying band including accordion (Marek Tarnowski), trumpet (Jerzy Małek), contrabass (Michał Jaros), piano (Grzegorz Jabłoński), percussion (Mateusz Modrzejewski), gave him a powerful field of interpretation, for which he has been known as vocalist for years.

The disc is produced and arranged by the long-standing trumpeter working with Dyjak – Jerzy Małek.

We invite you on 22 October 2017.
