SIX, the musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, tells the story of Henry VIII's six wives competing for the title of the one who suffered most by being married to the infamous king. When they discover that comparisons are pointless because the only thing they have in common is their husband, they discover that they are all unique, which is the key to reconciliation and true freedom.

RENT

RENT is Jonathan Larson’s revolutionary musical that tells the story of a group of eccentric young people living at the turn of 1980s and 1990s who struggle to achieve their dreams and recognition in the heart of New York’s East Village, facing poverty, exclusion, drug addiction and the AIDS epidemic on a daily basis. The performance is a tribute to the contemporary bohemian movement, which places creativity, individuality and independence above material gain and for whom love is the most important measure of life. Although the action of RENT is set in a specific moment in history, the musical resonates with many generations thanks to its universal themes, social awareness, variety of characters and the emotional depth of the songs.

The Play That Goes Wrong

The Play That Goes Wrong tells the story of a (fictional) theatre group Cornley Drama Society staging a 1920s crime play but, as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong... does go wrong! With the floor threatening to collapse and props falling from everywhere, mixing up one’s lines seems to be the least of the problems. The accident-prone actors (with a double cast) spend two acts struggling against numerous odds to survive to the final scene, which gives rise to a series of comical events and effects. We don’t know if they’ll be able to solve the crime mystery, but remember, all this madness is first and foremost about having fun!

Double Act

Double Act is a bitter-sweet comedy for two actors by playwright Barry Creyton, who wrote it for his long-time friend, actress Noeline Brown, and himself. Its world première took place in September 1987 in the Ensamble Theatre in Sydney. The performance received critical acclaim and won audiences’ hearts by storm, paving the way for the play’s success beyond the continent’s borders as well. Only a year after its Australian première, it was staged in one of the West End theatres. To date, it has been translated and staged in as many as 25 languages.
