Matylda Damięcka sings, Radek Łukasiewicz looks after music production! The first guest of this year’s series Concert Autumn in VARIETE will be the new stunning duo of the Polish music market: Matylda/Łukasiewicz. The concert will take place on 2 October 2023 at 19:00. Advance ticket sales will last until 15 September 2023.
Radek is well known for his bands Pustki or Bisz/Radex, but also for writing for other artists such as Brodka, Artur Rojek and Piotr Zioła. Matylda is well known from Instagram where she makes the Poles open their eyes and confront with an uncomfortable subject. The duo effectively drew attention of the public with their first song "Matka": an expressive and bold song, accompanied by a very cinematic music video. It has been very well received and is climbing up the charts (1st place on the chart of Radio 3/5/7), constantly gaining new audience. This is what the artists say about their collaboration:

In February, the most romantic month of the year, the duo Matylda/Łukasiewicz showed its more upbeat side, without, however, sacrificing their emotionality, with their new song “Zamknąć”. In the sphere of lyrics, it tells the story of a romantic relationship, while the video complements this narrative with the story of two elven creatures, because if love is for everyone then it is for everyone, no exceptions! Building relationships is an important part of life for both artists. As they explain it in their own words:
“When you find a person you can do anything with in a million ways, don’t lock them in a box, or at least make holes so they don’t suffocate. And if you can still laugh and spent time in silence together, you’re truly a lucky one.”
The beautiful, intimate music video for “Zamknąć” was directed by Matylda herself; she also played one of the roles. More singles and videoart works announce the release of the album, which we can expect later this year.
