Musical concert Rendez-Vous on Broadway

See a unique musical concert at Kraków's VARIETE Theatre! The event will feature greatest hits from contemporary-winning Broadway musicals, including Kinky Boots featuring music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper (winner of 6 Tony Awards in 2013), Catch Me If You Can inspired by true events and its adaptation to the silver screen directed by Martin Scorsese (nominated for 4 Tony Awards in 2011), Wuthering Heights based on Emily Brontë's famous novel, Dear Evan Hansen (winner of 6 Tony Awards in 2017), Dreamgirls inspired by the success of R&B music in the US (winner of 6 Tony Awards in 1982), as well as The Greatest Showman about the life of P.T. Barnum, founder of Barnum & Bailey Circus, Wicked (winner of 3 Tony Awards in 2004), Nine inspired by Federico Fellini’s 8½ (winner of 5 Tony Awards in 1982), and Once" (winner of 8 Tony Awards in 2012).
The Rendez-Vous on Broadway programme will feature 16 songs arranged by Ignacy Matuszewski and performed by well-known artists, singing solo and in duets. You will have the opportunity to see Maciej Pawlak, Barbara Garstka, Sabina Karwala, Magda Szczepanek, Dominik Bobryk. The band will perform in the following lineup: Ignacy Matuszewski (musical direction, piano, synthesizers), Jacek Długosz (guitars), Konrad Nikiel (bass guitar), Michał Pamuła (synthesizer, percussion instruments), Marek Olma (drums).
