DESCRIPTION

SABINA began her solo career in 2019 with the album Lepidoptera named after a butterfly to symbolise the artist’s transformation from girl to woman. Her second LP Bluemental had its digital première last April, and this autumn it’ll be released as CD enriched with three musical surprises. All that bluemental material, as well as a few ‘butterfly’ gems will be presented during the concert at the Krakow VARIETE Theatre on October 15 at 18:00.

BLUEMENTAL was created during the difficult time of lockdown, which the artist spent in the mountains, close to nature, coming to terms with the loss of two people close to her. It made SABINA think a lot, allowed her to lean into her roots, to focus on the higher values that we forget to nurture. This return to spirituality, which in everyday life is drowned out by omnipresent materialism and consumerism, were the direct inspiration for her work on the new material. The moment of stopping, contemplation and awakening is reflected in the music. SABINA and her music are aimed at people who appreciate the value of words, the depth of metaphors and, above all, original sounds.

SABINA also created her own podcast series ON THE FOOTPRINTS OF BLUEMENTAL, the theme of which fits perfectly with the concept of the album. She touches on the issues of spiritual development, self-awareness, the search for truth, the processes of life, generationality and all the other things that make up Bluemental. It’s based on participation, observation, but also active participation in various workshops, dedicated to spiritualism and esotericism.

SABINA – singer, songwriter, composer and actress. She inherited the artistic soul after her mother, who danced for years in the Śląsk Song and Dance Ensemble.
