A few years after the platinum album Męska Muzyka, the Waglewski Fisz Emade project returns with the new disc Matka, Syn, Bóg. The album was released on 25 October 2013 and very quickly to hit the top of sales lists. A few days after the première, the promotion single “Ojciec” was ranked at the first place of the chart of Polish Radio Programme 3. The album Matka, Syn, Bóg was created between April and August 2013. It was mastered by Emade, who also plays percussion in all tracks. Lyrics were written by Fisz (vocal, bass guitar) and Wojciech Waglewski (vocal, guitars). The compositions are mostly the work of Wojciech Waglewski. The list of featuring guests include Miłosz Pękala – vibraphone (Mitch&Mitch), vocalist of the Rebeka duo – Iwona Skwarek, Mariusz Obijalski – piano (Tworzywo, Natu) and Stefan Wesołowski – string instruments.
Wojciech Waglewski about the album: “This time it is an album that was invented together… it was teamwork, because since the previous one-off disc, we have created a band Waglewski, Fisz, Emade... All that translated into more maturity and consistency in the recorded material. Having completed the recording and listened to the whole, we could not resist the impression that it was the most personal, deepest and at the same time the truest material, compared to all that we have done so far…”.
